whirring motion, sound and rumble
air that moves, pushes and tumbles
quietly beyond and past
a silence that now spreads out
softening sleep. awakening the rest
the deepest, close to death
where is it now,
where will it come from
first again there is the high pitch
city whistle, the machine cycle switch
on then off then on then off
it is close and can be heard
it will be here and plenty.

resting
reading
sinking into the long weekend
list making

somewhere close to the middle of my neighborhood there's this parking lot with an abundance, filled to the brim yellow gold. close by in a building i heard the practicing tunes of a rock and roll band jamming out, instantly i began whistling norwegian wood and have had it in my head ever since. it just so happens to be my favorite time of the year, oh yes and there's plenty of the good stuff to go around.

while i'm waiting for my latest painting to finish drying, i thought i share some of this plenty with you, those who need it, read it.
